FAQ - Fregeau Remodeling & Tile

1. Are you licensed and insured?

We are licensed by the state of California as a General Building Contractor and a Tile Contractor. We also carry commercial general liability insurance, as well as workers’ compensation for our employees.

2. Do you subcontract your work?

95% of our work is completed in-house by Fregeau Remodeling employees. Occasional exceptions may be for custom or specialty items, i.e., custom slab countertops, custom cut shower glass, custom cabinets, etc., or significant electrical, plumbing, or mechanical work.

3. Do you warrant your work?

Workmanship and installation are warranted for one year from the date of completion. Any materials and fixtures we supply for your project will be handled by us and warranted according to the manufacturer.

4. Do you install customer-provided materials and fixtures?

We will happily install customer-provided materials or fixtures. It’s essential to keep in mind, however, we cannot provide warranty on any materials or fixtures the customer provides. The customer will be solely responsible for inspecting any materials or fixtures they provide and ensuring they are in good working order, free of defects, and ready to be installed.

5. Do you offer any other services not listed?

The services listed here on this website are our bread-and-butter, these are the things we specialize in. However, we’re not limited by these services alone. We’ve done many things over the years, including siding, deck building, fences, different kinds of carpentry, house painting, and even smaller jobs or handyman work. 6 Do you offer financing?

7. What are your typical working hours?

Our typical working hours for crews in the house are Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm – our office hours are the same. We don’t work Saturday or Sunday, everyone needs a weekend. 😀
